As a trainee of the Evans Research Group (ERG), you will become familiar with multiple high-impact fields of research, while developing a strong foundation in organic synthesis and macromolecule characterization. There will be many opportunities to lead research projects, as well as collaborate with external groups and departments. These experiences will culminate in a successful published record of interdisciplinary academic work. Trainees will also become proficient in scientific writing by developing scientific manuscripts, reviewing articles, and preparing grants and patents. These experiences will benefit your development as a scientist and set you up for success in your post-grad goals.
