The Evans Research Group

Spinning the Scientific Web

More than ever, the world needs a diverse group of scientific minds working in unison to tackle the challenges humanity faces. In the Evans Research Group (ERG), we cultivate the broad scientific talent that exists in society by promoting an inclusive environment, providing constructive feedback, and developing critical scientific skills. We are a passionate team of interdisciplinary scientists and engineers who do impactful research in a collaborative way. We deeply value the new ideas, enthusiasm, and creativity of our members, as well as their teamwork and willingness to share knowledge and assist others. As a PI, I channel my mentees’ ideas into a cohesive research experience that will launch their desired careers and produce publications, theses, and presentations. Ultimately, members of the Evans Research Group will learn to operate as independent scientific practitioners and valuable members of collaborative teams.
