Swapnanil hails from India. He earned his master's degree in chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna. His master's research focused on the synthesis and characterization of various porous materials and their applications in catalysis, sensing, and environmental remediation. His research interest revolves around synthesizing organic functional materials and their diverse applications. Outside the lab, Swapnanil enjoys traveling and playing cricket.
