Maddie is a graduate student from San Francisco, California. She graduated from University of Oregon in 2023 with a BS in Chemistry. At UO she performed research in Prof. Darren Johnson's lab to investigate supramolecular host-guest interactions using potentiometric sensors. Her research interests include polymer chemistry, organic synthesis, and materials science for environmental remediation applications. Outside of lab, Maddie enjoys reading, weightlifting, listening to music, and spending time with loved ones.
